First Post on Our New Blog

When I turned 30 last year, one thing I promised myself was to make New Years Resolutions every year for the rest of my life and actually take it seriously and hold myself accountable for making it happen. This year I resolved a few things:

1. Not raise my voice so much with my kids (find more inner patience in those beautiful faces!!)

2. Spend more time being physically active that involves my husband and kids (I don't want to do this alone!!)

3. Start a Blog to stay connected with all of my friends who have also moved onto that next phase in life (kids!!) that takes so much of our time and energy....



So with these I started 2009. And what a wonderful 2009 it has been so far! So much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to. Please join me along my journey as I document these posts to stay connected to my friends (who I love and miss dearly!) and also to have an archive for my kids (who I love and adore dearly!). Notice I don't miss them because as I write this Kate is leaning over my shoulder telling me what I should write and Wesley is sitting in her lap....what a beautiful picture. I'm going to keep this one in my memory for quite some time. And with that I'm going to sign off tonight. Justin grilled some fajitas that are calling my name!
